Just as well that Jimmy Page change the name of the group to LZ if not as a new group since they changed this song the way they did. Some said they stole this.

Jake Holmes, the guy who wrote this song, said that the Yardbirds did it the way he meant it to be. LZ has transformed it too much with all the screeching from Plant probably.

It wasn't mainly lyrics that spawned pages version, but truly just that one descending bass line.

The "Parties" can not speak about it however, I met a young NYC lawyer in Austin during SXSW a few years ago. She specialized in copyright law and was working this issue. AND you can hear the original on Jakes Myspace.
