British climbers Andy Kirkpatrick and Ian Parnell attempt the notorious Lafaille Route on the West Face of The Dru. At 3,754 metres this is reckoned to be the hardest climb in the Alps. Filmed in the depths of winter, this personal study of two of Britains most committed alpinists blends memorable climbing footage with some subtle and not-so-subtle Boys Own humour an ingredient that proved essential to the success of the expedition.
