Loving that little house beat in the background!

@AndyTabelz If you want to use Rex loops from the factory sound bank or any of the myriad of ReFills out there, then no you don't need ReCycle to use it. You only need ReCycle if you want to cut up your own audio files into Rex Loops.

Dr. Octo Rex won't let me "copy pattern to track". It is a a midi I created in ReCycle. Why won't it let me?
Hi PropellerheadSW im trying to reverse a sound of a glass bottle smashing and the only place i have found to do this is dr octo rex but it doesn't sound right any ideas what im doing wrong???

@troopa1987 You can use the sample editor to reverse the sound. Simply load the sample into any of our sampling devices (ReDrum, Kong's NN-Nano, NN19, NN-XT) and then choose to edit the sample. The editor will come up where you can reverse the waveform.

hey PropellerheadSW!!! How have you been? Look, i got a trouble when i try to apply an OctoRex track, wich is in a 4/4 signature, to my 3/4 track... it sounds not as great as i want... Would u help me out?

@carrillojuanda what sort of help do you want? You may want to try loading the Rex file into Kong pads via the Nurse Rex module and using "Chunk Trig" to only play back chunks of the loop. By assigning a few pads to a few chunks you might be able to create a 3/4 feel from a 4/4 loop. But musically speaking, 3/4 and 4/4 have vastly different feels that often don't lend themselves to simple fixes like just truncating one beat off a 4/4 loop, for example. Good luck!

hey how are you getting just the snare to hit that awsome reverb?? i tried what you showed here in the video but nothing worked?
Rolinger56 1 year ago
@Rolinger56 Go into slice edit mode by clicking the slice edit button. Select the slice that your snare hit is on. Click on the Output assignment knob and reassign the slice to an output other than 1/2. 3/4 will work fine. Now you have that single slice coming out of outputs 3/4 on the back separately from every other slice which still comes out of output 1/2. Now wire up an RV7000 to outputs 3/4 and use the dry/wet knob to control the balance of reverb. Run the RV7000 into your mixer. Ta-da!
