I don't understand the stupid "stealing from Twin Peaks" attitude. Who are you, the copyright police? Peaks is an awesome mythology and it would be great to see a spiritual successor. I'd wager 90% of you haven't seen more than a couple of minutes of Peaks anyway.
i've seen the whole thing. I think it's a fair complaint when it's copying not just vague ideas or settings but the specific look of characters. Look how the Twin Peaks show dropped in quality in the middle of series 2 when Lynch + Frost were much less involved - can you really see something better than that coming from an unofficial PS3 game with proper shit "SUFFER LIKE G DID" scripting/voice acting?
