Governments don't keep weapons technology secret for long, they love to demonstrate. Look at what happened when nukes were invented, the next 40 years was spent blowing shit up as publicly as possible. If they had this it would have been used to dominate the planet long ago. It just makes little sense to me to keep it secret.
