I've just started studying Cert III in Disability in Australia. I have always wondered how Professor Stephen Hawking, one of the worlds greatest scientific minds can communicate his message. AAC is the answer. Even though a person has a disability they also have abilities. Every human deserves the right to speak, to express themselves and be heard.

Wonderful. I have read about or seen at least three people that said how AAC has changed them. One girl said, "When I wasn't able to communicate, actually, I was a non-person." These are such amazing devices that can give people true life through communication.

this is a really great video about AAC and very helpful to the person who does not know about AAC yet. I am a friend of an AAC user and I am still learning about AAC myself.
