  • @italobambino43 This project is dead. Kelleher and his Shelborne Development Corp have just been evicted from their last office space in Chicago (for failure to pay a few thousand dollars in rent) and are limping back to Ireland.

I do agree with you that the structure would have been far too tall for that location and would have diminished a great skyline. This building would have been more at home in Dubai.

  • @chitownbound

Truth of the matter is this, Houston and other cities west are gaining in population fast! You need to read about how many large building in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia are running at about a 38 percent vacancy rate, yet, they still keep building!

  • They are really going through with that ugly monstrosity? The people in Chicago are that eager to regain tallest building status, and compromise that cities beautiful sky line? It looks like a twisted dildo!

  • fag.

  • i just saw your profile, disregard my comment because i dont associate with KKKrackas-(white people that share your beliefs)

  • please, get real. houston and dallas are still in their development stages. you cant even compare chicago and new york to houston and dallas. houston and dallas aint really that urbanized like chicago and new york. houston and dallas still have a lot of land that aint even been developed yet. houston and dallas look sad compared to chicago and new york, yall still got to many deserted areas. for the size of houston and dallas yall have too much land and not enough people to fill it in.

  • wow will this BLD really be over 2000 ft tall and if so will tourist be able to go to the top floors

  • i cant wait
