Update on my husband, the kiddos and myself. The kids get to talk to Daddy! YAY!
First of all, thank you all for the emails, comments and continued support during our family's time of need. They are very appreciated. More than you know!
My husband made it to an overseas hospital. We are waiting on a consultation with his cardiologist and a heart cath. It is still unclear whether he'll be returning home or to the ship to finish out his deployment.
Please be sure to check out the Wounded Warrior Project. They are such a vital part of our troops recovery. It is absolutely amazing what they do for our rehabilitating warriors.

My husband was part of the wounded warrior project for 2 years. He had been blown up in Iraq on his first tour back in 08. But after a lot of hard work and TONS of support to keep going, he has made it back to normal army life and will be deployed again within the next few months. :-(
I wish you and your family well, and I hope everything turns out great. Just stick with it, and keep your spirits up. I value your honesty on here...Us military wives have to stay strong til they all come home.

@adrynalynrush Thank you for your kind words. And thank YOU for sharing your experience. Thank your husband for his service. My husband is on a ship, therefore he rarely sees "combat." We are lucky in that aspect. My heart goes out to you! <3

@JustAPurpleWolf Thank you. When I started my channel, I wanted to show the true life of an average military family during deployment. Little did I know what the future was going to be in store for us. We have been in the miltiary for 13 years, and this is the first I have heard of the Wounded Warrior program. Though my husband hasn't been wounded in combat, they are still opening their arms to him.
