@coffeeaddictuk I'd like to see BBM come back with a heavier and darker sound.
But after hearing on the radio that only 3 rock songs managed to get in the 100 best songs in 2010 it makes you wonder where all the good bands have gone.
I agree with you, but it's a real shame that they didn't get a chance to continue in the direction they were going, as they made some good records.
There was a group called Bluemouth formed from the ashes of BBM who I saw in london (I used to drink at the same pub as Steve and Lamp and they were selling tickets for a tenner which paid for the trip down and a 12 inch single) and they were amazing. I dunno what happened to them, but they performed some great songs.
Bloody great song. I have this on CD with 3 other mixes. Never knew there was a video for this.
They should have been massive. What makes me mad is there are bands like BBM who have the talent, write great songs and just fizzle out and there is all this x factor bollox where people get the songs written for them, dance moves choreographed for them, all the management done for them and basically do bugger all themselves and become huge.

@coffeeaddictuk BANG BANG MACHINE didn't fizzle out.
The machine was just switched off.
It can be switched back on.
Big money marketing and promotion decide which bands we are force fed in the media.
I'm glad BBM didn't get absorbed into the mainstream.
