I think this is absolutely hillarious! I'm still pissed that I had to evacuate Houston with my then 3 month old son only to come back home with my patio furniture still in the same place I left it. I'm glad I can laugh about this now! Funny stuff guys!

I am happy to see recovering victims to make something from what may have been lost, I was there on a disaster relief assignment. However due to major disaster before, It was very hard to reach the rita victims. Believe me to this. Major disaster relief organizations, now need to train more. They need a back to back plan disaster within disaster, or of within another. Worst case scenerio back up plan. And recruit, recruit, recruit. Volunteers, train, them and honer all.

PJFA is based in Houston as well. We weren't making fun of the people who died, but rather, the senseless fear that the Houston media struck in the people. It was this artificial fear from the media (cough, fox 26), that lead to mass hysteria among the public.

Mass hysteria that lead to the terrible traffic on the highways which ultimately brought about to the tragic retirement community bus explosion incident. We made this video the day after Rita hit land to show people how foolish they were for falling into what the local news told them. Perhaps if they watched any other news source or weather source anywhere but from Houston, who didn't need sensationalist coverage, things would have turned out different.

We're sorry if you can't see past the superficial levels to the more serious matters this video goes for. Rita was a terrible event that, because of local news in Houston, had needless deaths in it, and not one station apologized for inflicting fear into the public. Not one. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with that. This video serves as a reminder, most of all, at how foolish the media is.
