  • Best Blues/Rock album EVER!!!

  • @whocares1694 This coming from someone called "whocares1694"...lol. As it happens, I agree with you!

  • I don't care ... this makes the Stones sound like Paul Revere and the Raiders..

  • @HPBish I'm not gonna argue with that. I like Paul Revere and the Raiders, and I like both versions of this song. The Stones version is the original and a true classic. But...Johnny's version KICKS ASS!!!

  • Thanks for posting. This version is killer. Why is it never heard on FM radio?

  • @Staggerbaroque That is a damn fine question, to which I have no answer.

  • @musicaldun1 Speaking of which........musicaldun1......could you please be kind and upload the rock medley of "Great Balls of Fire/Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" from this album.......I'll be your friend forever! :-D

  • OMG thank you!!! R.I.P. RANDY JO HOBBS!!! :-D

  • @TheBigvolt This and Made in Japan '72 are my two favourite Live Albums. In my opinion there is nothing out there that has the aggressive energy that even comes close to what Johnny and Purple could put down back then.

  • @Starpass Was with a couple of buds in San Fran ,,,, Sept 69 , we headed up to the Fillmore John was playing 4 nights Thurs. through Sun w/ Freddy King and Albert King, Bozz Scagg was still local player did a couple numbers . This was one of the best live performances I have ever seen ,,,, Johnny was on fire . Bill Graham even watched the show and bought a few drinks for all ,, Good Nite , Best wishes "" Cosmic Traveler"

  • Been looking for this version, absolutely the best one.... thanks a bunch for posting!

  • @victhebassman

  • @whocares1694
