I should probably share this with you guys...just for a chuckle. I was attending a lecture when the Mac being used to present it crashed. Seeing what the Chinese call "a golden opportunity for a thousand years", I, a dedicated PC user, yelled (rather sarcastically and with a big smile on, since I was a lone PC person in a sea of Mac users) "That never happens with Macs!", to which the lecturer, a diehard Mac fan, shouted in reply "Sacrilege!!!" (Needless to say, everyone burst out laughing.) :D

I've laughed at diehard Mac fans for years, but they used to at least have a bit of a point when it came to relative OS stability, etc. These days, with Windows 7, it's no contest. Windows 7 is simply the best and most stable OS ever. Apple is a player, so that might change at some point in the future...but like I said...right now, it's no contest.

I hate both Apple and Microsoft. I am not a fanboy of anyone. They are both stupid myopic companies that don't respect your intelligence. I prefer struggling with stupid difficulties of Linux, but that's just me. Put up with crap if you have to, but don't be fanboys please.

@MagikGir It's their product-devotee base that'll buy anything, and get very defensive at the slightest negative remark. I work with a guy who might as well have Apple tattooed on his arse (well, he might, actually), who got quite angry when I told him about a South Park episode in which iPad and Apple are given a bit of a friendly piss-take (see the episode, 'Human Cent-iPad'). He reduced himself to petty and condescending comments when all I was doing was talking about a South Park episode!
