  • I'm lost doesn't this phone to 1080 camcoder....or maybe they market it as HD cam cuz 720 would be considered high def I guess

  • @Clipzin33 Yes, 720p is high definition. This test video was uploaded back in September (before the OTA update for the Electrify in early December) when it still had a max of 720p recording. Now it supports 1080p video recording.

  • woahh this is like 10 minutes away from my house! golf mill and all of that :D in des plaines

  • @TheOrgasmicDozii Haha, very good catch! :)

  • Im getting this phone in 2 months :/ lol

  • @FinnTail Dont set your eyes on a certain phone just yet, US Cellular loves to release some great high end phones around mid-November to mid-December every year. Something like the Galaxy S 2 may be coming, so get your hands on that!

  • @TheOrgasmicDozii lol, same here i live in niles though.

  • @BigBrotherMotown not that it looks bad on the phone at a normal distance but some people have a problem with the details. I myself had the droid x2 and it also had the pentile display from a normal perspective or further away you couldn't notice anything but a couple of inches away and you can see the pentile effect.

  • @BigBrotherMotown I didn't saying anything about this video the video shot with the camera looks great I was just explaining why the qhd display looks pixelated on the phone as mrGovermint was saying. It's because the way it's made. It won't effect shooting video or pictures as making them pixelated just the screen is on the phone. The video looks just fine played on another screen that isn't pentile. If you play it on the phone tho you'll see the screens pilelation cause of the pentile display

  • @JiEnRgErMaYm

We are watching video shot BY the phone, not watching this video ON THE PHONES SCREEN so what would the phones SCREEN have to do with this video??????????

If this video looked pixelated it would have NOTHING to do with the screen because the phones screen is not being used to view this video.

  • @FalconPunch1978 the screen is moto's pentile display that's why it looks pixelated not because it's qhd. Htc's qhd screens are awesome with no pixelation, because it uses rgb real stripe like samsung phones. Which is funny because qhd screens are suppose to have more pixels but the pentile display uses less pixels it was a way to save battery by making screen brighter in turn not having to light more pixels. Bad on moto's part but still a great phone with really good hardware.

  • @MrGovermint I was complaining more about my service at home and at work which both happen to suck. After the desires last update it was great. The electrify is great except for qhd display kinda sucks, pixaly.
