my dad didnt do anything w us until we were grown. me in my late 20's so i didnt feel much of anything when he died. youre fortunate to have been in love w your father.

Lost my dad when I was 14 (Feb of 2009). I know how you feel; the pain soon drifts away, but the memories will always remain. You never really know how badly you miss someone/thing until they're gone. When he had a stroke a few years ago to had paralyzed left half of his body a bit so he took up bass to try to give it strength back, which then inspired me to start playing. Love your lessons, take care. Never forget your not alone.
