New Super Mario 3D Land footage confirms second playable character

Some new footage has been released for New Super Mario 3D Land in the new Iwata Asks on the Japanese Nintendo site. The new footage shows fans another playable character for the game. Who else would it be? None other than his trusty companion! Yes, Luigi will most definitely be a playable character on New Super Mario 3D!

We also knew that the Tanooki and the Boomerang suits would make their way into the game. These videos will show them in action! Super Mario 3D Land releases in a little over 2 weeks for, of course, the Nintendo 3DS. With the additions of the Tanooki suit, the Boomerang suit, and now Luigi, who would want to pass it up? Will you be picking up Super Mario 3D Land?
