"Lesbian" means that both people involved are female, though. Women. Lucas is a transman, which means he is a man, and prefers to be called a man. Which means he is not a lesbian.
He hasn't taken hormones, I hear, because his voice might get messed up. That is why he still looks a bit girly sometimes and his voice could go either way. But he is a guy.
And yes, it is a great band. ^^ Ganz toll.
