Ok, guys so this contest is for a new Ontario Blackbird SK-5 and a Hedgehog Leatherworks Blackbird Sheath, so follow the instructions carefully!

Step 1:

Click this link and print the Equip 2 Endure Logo

http://www.equip2endure.com/storage/E2E-Logo.pdf

Step 2:

Take a picture of you and the symbol (Please no dirty pics folks!)

Step 3:

Load your picture on Facebook, if you don't have Facebook I'm sure you know someone who does and will load it for you. Remember this prize has a value of over $400!

Step 4:

Tag yourself in the photo, and tag the Equip 2 Endure Photo with the Equip 2 Endure LLC page, not the "Adam Equip to Endure" Page. If you are not a fan of the Equip 2 Endure LLC page you will have to go to:

http://www.facebook.com/equip2endure

and like the Equip 2 Endure LLC page first!

Step 5:

Cut and paste the following in the description of the photo

"I am entering a drawing to win an awesome Blackbird SK-5 knife http://www.hedgehogleatherworks.com/Blackbird-SK-5-Survival-Knife-p/bbsk-5.htm and Hedgehog Leatherworks sheath http://www.hedgehogleatherworks.com/product-p/h-at.htm from one of my favorite preparedness websites: http://www.EQUIP2ENDURE.com"

Step 6:

Share the photo with your friends to spread the word!

Remember we frequently have more than just one prize, I think I will have to have a 2nd place and runner up for this type of contest!

As long as international entries cover their owner shipping, everyone can participate. I can only cover shipping in the US. Thanks for asking and good luck.

You guys have until 12/31/2011! The new Equip 2 Endure Site will be going online on New Years Day! And we will announce the winner on the new site, so keep your eyes open and mark the date!

Good luck to all of you and thank you all again for supporting Equip 2 Endure

Stay safe, and remember: "If you're not always prepared, you're never prepared!"

  • Got my hands on a BlackBird SK-5 after eagerly awaiting its arrival only to have part of the micarta handle snap off on its first outing into the bush. This is the first micarta handled knife I've owned and wanted to know if this kind of thing is common. Is micarta normally quite brittle or did I just get a defective handle? Over all I love the knife and will continue to use it as my primary bushcrafter once the handle is sorted.

  • @TheAmatureExpert, shot a pic to my email.

  • Is this only for people from the US or can anyone around the world participate??? Very important detail to know!

  • @BravingTheOutDoors ,as long as international entries cover their owner shipping, everyone can participate. I can only cover shipping in the US. Thanks for asking and good luck.

  • Eh, I learned the hard way: It's easier to call into work and say 'Hey, can I work?' than to try to win a contest. Sorry, bowing out of this one.

  • Adam. Thank you for your great contest. I am very tired, but I had to get this in. I just got home from the hospital. My surgeon was glad to help me out. God bless. I'm headed to bed. John

  • Thank you Adam for all the great videos.

  • Is this limited to one picture?

  • Happy Birthday guys. Keep up the fantastic work!

  • The sheath looks massive, but I love the ferrocerium rod retention system--probably the best I've seen. And those directional snaps are awesome...never heard of anything like that before. The only question now is where to take the picture...hmm. I don't see many survival knives in 154CM, so the knife is amazing as well (especially the very tried and true handle design).
