I love the Hit Parade "bounce" the supporting singers do during these types of songs. Lots of fun!

Bravo again-A great clip. Polly Bergen-also a underrated singer,very talented. Yes,i remember when Dorothy Collins was pregant and off the show for the fall in 54>I believe she had a daughter in 57 period also,but she was off the Hit Parade then due to cast changes;a big mistake for that show-she had a second daughter then,but also had a radio show that year on Sunday afternoons with then husband Raymond Scott.She returned to the new Your Hit Parade in 58-59 with Johnny Desmond-they were great

Great opening. nice to see the show though, I am quite taken with Polly Bergen, she played a big part in 50s tv.
Nice to see these old surviving shows from the past.

Very fun opening always loved Polly Bergen! This would have been Dorothy's first child Deborah. Curious did they film her at all during her pregnancy?

Yes this was her first child and since Dorothy was off the program for the summer and then for 3 months in the fall, I would doubt that she was showing that much in the late Spring. But I could be wrong.
