Former AC Milan legend Franco Baresi can hardly imagine a UEFA Champions League season without the Rossoneri but that is the reality. A fifth-place Serie A finish last term means Milan will not compete in the premier continental competition for the first time since 2001/02, but they are aiming to bounce back both at home and in the UEFA Cup, the one major trophy to elude their grasp.

  • @moritzpbbarvencik defensive midfilder

  • @moritzpbbarvencik Baresi is certainly better than both Maldini and Bobby Moore- despite them being excellent player. Also, having Carlos down as one of the best defenders is laughable, especially as you've ignored his far superior Brazilian team mate CAfu.

  • @laudrup90 Yes but after he learned hit he did it better in my opinion !

  • @moritzpbbarvencik .maldini learned everyting fro baresi, the master.

  • THE BEST DEFENDER EVER IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL!

  • @987costa .... well I think its maldini>baresi

  • @moritzpbbarvencik .lol baresi>maldini.

  • actually met Roberto Carlos when they came to the U.S for a friendly. In person it hits you how short he is. Very very rude and shit personality. Not a pleasant person..lol

  • R Carlos at Scirea level? and at no 5? and no Nesta at all? Nah man you've lost my vote lol
