Chan Wah Shun learned was tricked into learning the modified Wing Chun and later taught Yip Man. Yip then went on and met Leung Bik who showed him the true system and told him he was the son of Chan Wah Shun's teacher he also told him the reason it was modified. Yip Man had two teachers but I can not say this story is true or not but it is possible. the full story is on cheungswingchun com under Yip Man.

@BACKWARDS last but not least , when william got beaten up by emin he was around mid 40 and his claims are ridic. there was a king of kung fu and a young student who had the second technician degree , the fight was over in seconds , because a good wing tsun fighter never goes to the ground , thats what they try to tell you with their bad footwork , and exactly on the ground he lost his face since then his studens try to fix it but we are no sports club , wt is martial art if you lose you lose

@BACKWARDSgameREVIEWS there is no need to talk about it , just take a look at his students and how they do the form and take a look a the other ones you wil see a big difference , wing tsun is not karate and exaxtly this is what you will see , william chung students doing wing tsun moves in a karate style ( i mean with much power and very static not fluently like it should be ) , make your own point of view and if you beleive more in words then in deeds then this is your problem not my one

@BACKWARDSgameREVIEWS no you shouldn´t wing tsun does not work with your own power , it should be an easy thing for a master to use yor young and fresh energy to kick or throw you around the corners , do you know what yip man did with bruce lee at his age ( i think about 90) . if you understand the concept of wing tsun you will know what i mean , wiliam chung is in my eyes othing more then a good sales man but not a martial artist master , there are others who are much much better
