  • geforce 6800 128mb AGP (325mhz core / 350mhz mem / 12 pipelines)

  • i used to have that same card, but it burnt out. Now i have an ATI X1300 Pro, which is similar for the most part, do you thik it will work?

  • i managed to get xgl working on fc6 with a radeon 9800.

    wasn't as smooth though.

the nvidia drivers are way more mature on linux anyway so getting a new nvidia card would be the best option... even the most simple version of an 8x00 would do just fine.

  • its called 'side kick' and i applied it to create/close window, also set the animation time to 1.2000 seconds.

  • very well

  • I installed Ubuntu on a machine last night with these same stats. But, it wouldn't read my graphics card right at all. But, the night b4 i had Fedora 6 on the same machine without Beryl and I could use the Gini effect and wobbly windows and such. I am going to install Fedora 7 and stay with it

  • is wubi ubuntu able to install this so called 'sidekick'?

  • ok. Yeah, that seems to be the case, thanks for posting!

  • what do you have for a graphics card?
