Mark Dickinson was trying to catch a flight out of LAX that would take him to his grandson. His grandson had been mortally wounded and in hospital in Denver with his life support about to be turned off. Mr. Dickinson wanted to be by his side. At the airport, long queues prevented the grandfather to make it to his flight on time. Much to his surprise, his plane was there waiting for him 10 minutes after it was supposed to have taken off. The pilot had decided to wait for his most important passenger that day, flying Mr. Dickinson to be by his grandson's bedside.

My prayers to the family of Mark Dickinson for their loss.

  • Go SWA employees make the difference!

  • That is how you should do business in America.

  • Wow.. That's a classical case of passenger convenience. The pilot probably had some explaining to do...
