who were the other mod bands from dublin,the fontaines....and the commotion...were two i think.also galway had dynamo,a ska band.any others????I think the commotion appeared on vinyl.

Ahh yes the early 80s The Blades, Mr Paul Cleary (the Irish Mod Father) Me 17 fish tale parkas and collage loafers they were indeed the days.

great band and great songs...i remember going to the TV club, Harcourt st, whenever they played there.. mods, punks, heavy metals, etc all together to see the best band Ireland ever produced...
But i have to agree with MrbushyTop...on that album , i think they lost it...zitars instead of the fantastic brass section?? whose idea was that?? Moronic choice and killed the album..
