Smoother!! Smoother!! Better shifts and shift points.
USE the revs that V-12 can give, no short shifting!!
Thats the advantage over our iron V-8s..
The bloody chicane comes just where the GTO could SHINE..
Learn from David Piper, lad...
You can do better, you CAN...!!

It sounds like a McLaren F1!

Freakin awesome! The cobra has got alot of torque, sounded great going past too. Bet you thats the most fun you have with your pants on...
-
HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS CLIP?!?!!
-
I am not sure if it was the driver or was it ferraries gearbox that seemed so bad
-
First thing he did was try to jam the dogleg into reverse... whilst they make for a quicker 2nd - 3rd shift, I'd be pretty wary of owning one :S
-
The E-types and the like are fairly easy to replace, where would you look for a 250 gto ?? hence the sensible driving of this masterpiece of a car
-
I love the 458, the F430 is alright, but this is the best Ferrari.
-
how did the car finish ? 4th-5th ?second pilot (no offense to pilot n.1 )seems faster.
-
@lnZzane but it doesn't help it on the track! the cobra is the faster car on the track!
This is so much better for a GTO than sitting in a museum.

Note here the cunning Team Nick Mason strategy of hanging a pit board lettered with the car's current market value out as the driver passes. Also note that Nick bought his GTO back when such things were just tired, out-to-pasture racehorses before the heady days when all things '60s and exotic became as precious as nice houses.
Finally, and most importantly, note the work it takes to keep one of these great old things moving quickly in a useful direction around a racetrack.
