Always loved the 5th Dimension - this song perhaps is (one of!) my all time favourites. Lyrics; perfect and haunting, music; just gorgeous. Bittersweet song, maybe they're the best of all....

im still in love with the two of them

Oh these 2 ladies are sensational. I am amazed by their high noted voices. The lovely honest femininity they communicate is so endearing. The music is incredible and my memory of this song is still as crystal, as when it first aired on radio. And Oh - the profoundness of feminine regret in the lyric-line, Why was I so unkind, I hope he's still on that line. OH NO poor girl

I always think of this song and their performance as a "Concerto for Two Beautiful Female Voices" !!

Jimmy Webb always had the touch for creating a beautiful song and this was no exception. I used to visualize this song as part of a movie soundtrack...but it never happened.

Your comments and video are outstanding. The music in the troubled late 1960's and early 1970's was so rich with pop , soul, hard rock and easy listening you can overlook a great group like the Fifth Dimension.

Love this song! Another one for stereo heaven. Jimmy Webb is a genius and Marilyn McCoo has such a fabulous intimate voice. A musical marriage!

It's like choosing between a Porsche and a Ferrari, isn't it?
