Inspired by http://SEALFit.com and Greg Amundson at http://FirebreatherAthletics.com I wanted to take my training to a new level.

My time is often pressed so I took their 7x7x7 workout and got 4 rounds in, an extra 3 rounds certainly woulda made me look like Paula Abdul after one too many drinks.

I've spoken often about making your training psychological not just physical.

I'll be jumping in more SEAL Fit workouts to step FAR outside my comfort zone.

I hope you will too.

  • @chavamma i agree with you on the time frame, but completely disagree on your protein suggestion. i know you are gonna think im crazy because everyone "knows" protein after a workout is good, but hear me out. your body uses up muscle glycogen during your workouts, so post workout it needs to replace that and recover, therefor you need to eat some packing with glycogen such as sweet potatoes, butternut squash, yams, take your pick and then ad about a stick of butter to it.

  • @ihavemonkeysinmybutt Actually after an intense workout you've a 25-45 minute window to fuel your muscles with fast release protein for maximum results.

  • @YunTraining i would imagine that eats 1-2 grams of protein per lbs he weighs throughout the day - just not right after that workout. 

  • just bananas, no protein?
