Measuring Homelessness in Colorado Springs

Last year's number of homeless reached 1,127. That included 241 individuals considered severely mentally ill, 119 victims of domestic violence, and 230 veterans. The numbers for 2013 are trending up. Fox 21's John Martin reports.

There are so many forms of homelessness. Sleeping rough, car, sheltered, doubling up, if we counted all the people staying with family because of poverty then the numbers would be very large. Most people graduating college today are under employed. They got an education to get a job they could have gotten if they had just said fuck it I will quit school in the 8th grade and give life a shot. F that is what I did sort of I got a GED ended up graduating 2 years ahead of my class FML.
