Final Fantasy VIII Eyes On Me Piano - Angela Aki Version

Obviously I'm in love with Angela Aki =D, this is Eyes On Me in a mixture of Faye's and Angela's version. The bass part is emphasized here because I don't have the perks of constantly playing the bass and chords to create the beat while adding the melody altogether, so I guess this is as far as I can go in making the instrumental of her version.

I transposed the keyboard 1 octave down to reach the low C(the more reason to get an 88-key next time =D)

By the way, I know that some ppl don't like Angela's version, well that's your choice but seriously ppl need to start looking further beyond this song and not just merely comparing her with Faye Wong especially judging her based on one song. She's proven herself worthy of Nobuo's attention and all of her fans around the world, her debut album "Home" peaked at #2 and was #27 album of the year in Japanese Oricon chart. If you really want to compare her with Faye Wong, ask Faye to play piano and sing altogether while still maintaining all the vocal techniques and we'll see who's really doing better here.

And if you wanna say that the rendition doesn't fit with the game, of course it won't because she didn't arrange it for the game, she's merely being creative and try to present the song from another perspective that we haven't seen from Eyes On Me.

But anyway that's just my 2cents, afterall it's still up to the fans to decide who they really like =D.
