@EverythingAndMoreTV : I always thought Richard Thompson was the songwriter of "Dimming of the Day" ... which Irish artists are you referring to? Love this version by Harris and would like to hear more.

@rainbowalleycat Well, a bit more research (google--what else?!) and I see I am wrong, this appeared on "Portraits" album 1996. I must be too used to hearing her sing more countryish stuff, which she also does better than the originals usually. This one is an eyeopener for me.

It sounds more like Linda Thompson than Emmylou to me. I'm not convinced.
