My aim is to show these common objects in unfamiliar ways, as if the viewer had never seen them before. Often, in our environment, we are faced with an object or image not immediately identified by us. For a moment a shape or structure may defy identification as a "store", "house", "factory" or whatever. A light may hover without a known source. Sometimes a second look allows us to realize its identity, but during that moment of uncertainty, images can seem like glimpses of a future age where technology has passed by our ability to assimilate it and common objects become mysterious apparitions." -Neil Gresalfi.
