Religion Prevents World Peace.

As far as i'm concerned, "World Peace" is nothing more than a fantasy. It'll never happen as long as religion exists.

Did you know there has NEVER been a war fought in the name of Buddhism? Then again, Buddhism isn't technically a religion per se. Buddhists don't worship Buddha, they revere him as a great teacher, and sometimes bow to his likeness in remembrance and respect for what he taught, but that's distinctly different from worship. Buddhists also believe that in the great scheme of things everyone is on a unique path, and "religion" may be just where you are on it.

Yes, Buddhism seems to be far less of a shame based organization.

If i was forced to choose a 'religion' to study, that is definitely the one i'd sign up to.

I'd say Atheism and Islam are the reason why the world is in shambles. Between people jumping down your throats if you're a Christian or blowing yourself up under a false ideology is the reason why world peace will never be achieved. Then again, the only way you can achieve world peace is by having one single government ruling all while banning every religion in existence. That is what the secularists and progressives want. Nobody is talking about it because they don't want their plans spoiled.

There are many reasons for war, but if i am right? there is a rule in the religions that it says that killing it's a huge sin, btw anyone can believe what they want, atheist can be a problem too, for instance, they are just talking alot of shit about them(like this guy) and that's not making peace, i don't really agree that it never will be peace, so if you want peace, then just respect everyone for who they are and not mocking them, so show respect,'' make love not war'' Jesus is love.

thats definitely true, i agree, but there are so many more reasons for war than just religion. i mean, the cause war can't just be summed up in one reason. there are many many many things that cause war. But i do agree with what you are saying, I'm not religious either and i think sometimes it seems like when 2 people have different beleif all it does is cause tension.
