The goal of the complete run is to use a firemoth only, therefore times may be improved in larger mechs, however that is not the goal. No exploits will be used in these runs. All runs will be on hard unless otherwise noted. Lastly I will use DOS or 95 Vanilla for each level.

The Completion time by game time is 6:46. (It would be much less if it was not for that secondary objective)

@Alienator55 To be more exact the ambient temperature is teh temperature of the environment around you. In this case its not the temp of the cockpit it is the area if the planet you're dropped in.

@chilorioRoX Just be careful, It's been a while but I think the mech gets blown up when the bar goes fully red. Shutting it down cools it off heaps fast too...

@SoulSnatching yeah, that is what I use. ctrl + alt + F5. Not quite sure why it is not capturing on your version.

@SirxMMPD I hope you dont take this as spamming here, but can you tell me which key combination you use for that in Dosbox? Alt+Ctrl + F5 I used to record quite a lot from Dosbox as well, but CD music is never captured for some reason. thank you

@SoulSnatching DOSBOX records all of that with the video. So, thankfully I didn't have to mix the music in for the campaign videos. Netmech though with the build that we use for online play does not have music, so in those case I do mix it after if I do want music.

yeah i have the AOL version with no music. but its still fun and i play it all the time. i also have it for PS1 and thats ok even though its so basic compared to the PC version.

cannot really help you there.. running it directly the music either works or does not. it varies. It also depends on the version you are using of mech2... if it is an AOL version there is no music on the disc.

If you really want music then use Mech2 DOS with DOSBOX

Yah, multi core is frusterating. I only have a multi-cpu system atm so I cannot be of any help to you on this. What you did was correct though.. slaving cpugrab to each core might work.. i would probably also set the game to one specific core as well.

I would run 2 of them at 90 or higher.. and last one at a lower level so your comp does not freeze.

@SirxMMPD i tried it but it never works i got a AMD phenom X3 8650 multi-core running at 2.3 ghz and i cant get it to work right i runned 3 at a time 1 per cpu and it doesnt work, i set them each to 70 nothing and another problem is my music doesnt work which is really stupid

Use something to slow your comp down.. such as cpugrab
