Great but not including the 6th doctor is silly because you have`nt therefore shown the complete classic series
-
@JohnMacnee I cannot agree more, for me dr who is by far the greatest program on tv ever
-
I saw an Attack of the Cybermen clip in this, the one where Lyton is being tortured by two cybermen, did you get this clip from some speical features or do you really have it on dvd?

"You mean you've deliberately decided to go on the run from your own people in a rackety old TARDIS" One of the many reasons why the new series has failed to capture the spirit of Doctor Who.
-
What an absolute fantastic video - the shots fit so well with the music - but above all it really captures the essence of Dr Who - Best video i've sen for a long time - thank you and well done!!

I am a technically-oriented person, and precise measurement is my job.
Ratings are a concrete measurement of whether a show is losing or gaining audience.
The trend in ratings over a season, and several seasons, is more important than an isolated individual episode rating. Even the rating of a particular serial is suspect if it deviates far from a trend.
Example: the first two serials of Season 17 had incredible ratings, that could not have occurred except for the ITV strike.

The thing is, you can compare Williams and JNT and anyone you want, but any Doctor Who story is brilliant no matter what it's about or who was behind it.
-
I think if anything the declining years began with Graham Williams. I'm no big JNT fan but i think he produced far more quality stories than Williams did. JNT arrested a severe decline into cheap pantos when he took over and restored some credibility for the series.

You seem to be obsessed with ratings. I dont know whether thats a particularly American thing, but I might add that according to ratings, Destiny of the Daleks is one of the best Doctor Who stories ever and episode two of The Power of Kroll is up there with the Hinchcliffe classics. Which goes to show that ratings are not always reliable. I might also add that most of the stories from Peter Davisons first season, produced by JNT, had better ratings than Terror of the Zygons!

Wow. Most people would just say 'I didn't really like Colin's Doctor', but you've taken it to new extremes. I interviewed him once and of all the actors I've met (Doctors 3,4,5,6 & 7) he was far and away the most friendly. We love you Colin!

haha, i've said it before and i'll say it again. IF i owned any of his stories on DVD I'd add him into the mix. But since I don't like him i'm not buying any of his episodes on DVD.....and hence he gets left out. Sorry Colin.

Very good video. But it would have been nice to have seen good old Colin in there. Maybe you could do another one with Colin in? Anyway well done on the video.

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't like the 6th Doctor and therefor see no need to spend money on his DVDs. Sorry all, but my Who vids will be Colin-less forever :P
