Me playing Black Dahlia Murders Contagion, i butchered the solo mostly cos i hadn't played it in a while but also my dad came in just at that moment... The usual, in Drop C and crappy amp/no effects.

Checked out some Suffocation.... they're pretty average, crappy production, all you can hear is the drums, Nile or Necrophagist are the way to go for brutal metal.

Also. The only thing I think you can improve upon (I know this cuz I cant really do it either), use your pinky more when soloing or just playing the difficult shit. It comes in handy, but I cant really use my pinky for soloing either. It sucks, but it helps a whole lot more.

Scene metal, are you kidding me? The Black Dahlia Murder is straight up death-core, with black metal/death metal style vocals. They've been around since before the scene evolved, and they are popular because they're good. Suffocation is alright but not near as technical as BDM.

dante this isnt scene metal do you see the band looking like posers? nope TBDM is a great band and there lyrics are oviously well thought out.... but suffocation rocks aswell so you got some taste.
