I'll never forget the one about minister in the car accident. Someone stopped & said " You alright preacher?" He replied "Yes, thank ya. The Lord's ridin' with me." The other person said "Well you better let him ride with me before you kill him!"

Rejoyce dear hearts... I kinda grew up on that my mom and dad loved it and hopefully still have those albums.

In the late 60s while on a Thumb Tour of the south I begged a doorman at a nightclub Dave was playing to please let me in. He got me a seat in the back of the room and brought me a drink.
After the show I handed him a napkin on which I had written, "Dear Bro Dave, Your thoughts have guided me lo these many years, thru the doors of perception and enlightenment. Bless thee."
The doorman took it to Dave. He brought it back to me and Dave had written on it,
"Remain Aware, Dear Heart".

Google "laughdomerecords" and you can get pretty much everything he ever put to vinyl.

Ooo Ooo Ooo!
Dear hearts, if you want to partake of the joys of Brother Dave, I suggest you Google "laughdomerecords" and it will take you to an ebay store that sells Brother Dave on CD. I've bought many times from these folks. The prices are reasonable and the audio is excellent quality.
And so my celestial brothers and sisters I bid you good night.

Brother Dave was a personal friend of my dad's and older brother's. Honored guest at many parties. What a character.....helped to provide much of my philosophy in life.
