@skydome29 I was lucky enough to see, probably, 70-80% of the games Orr played for Boston. Everytime he had the puck you had to watch him because you never knew when he was going to do something you never seen before. What made him so fantastic is that he usually did, either offensively or on the defense. People who comment but never seen him play forget just how great he was a defensive defenseman.He really was something to see but tragic as his knee started to betray him.

@skydome29 You understand and know the game by your comments besides being 100% correct! The only real argument against Orr vs., say Howe or The Rocket, is that because of his bad left knee he only was able to play 10 years. What a shame for all Hockey fans and The NHL. I don't think many people realize that if Orr's knee was so mangled he would have played (and skated circles around) Wayne Gretzky. Orr's retirement speach chokes me up ever time I watch it...Sad

Gretzky was like a doctor from his size/body when he played a hockey. He could to take a hits but here looks like he is a big baby who got owned and hurted badly but actually the hit wasnt that huge even but i understand one thing; Gretzky was more a weak guy so he got hurted easier as someone like Stevens in these situations, easy to figure out. His physic wasnt a hockey player level, i have heared.,
