CLARISSA... THE RECOVERY101 GIRL FOR MAY 2009

Clarissa P. is a young lady thats been in Recovery for multiple years. Clarissa grew up in the upper Midwest region of the United States. She came upon recovery after runs in with the law and realizing the harmful affects her using was having on her life. Clarissa knew that AA was the place to go because of her Father who's been in recovery for 20 years. Clarissa enjoys sobriety because the absence of drugs and alcohol has given her great opportunities and more time to focus on the things she loves in life like family Friends music and outdoor activities. Clarissa's home group is a group that meets on the White Earth Indian Reservation. Clarissa is grateful also for her brother who's also in recovery and sometimes Clarissa, her dad and brother all get to go to a meeting together! :) Clarissa feels blessed towards Recovery 101 for allowing her to be a part of in a way she never imagined possible and hopes that more youngsters will walk through the doors of AA to find out how just how fun sober insanity can be!!! :)
