  • So the waiting IS the hardest part. God help any squirrel, possum, mole, mouse, or random squeak toy that finds its way into our backyard.

  • i have 2 dachshunds that have no tie into that type of life, but we took them to the beach for the first time, and they DUG LIKE CRAZY. it was amazing. this video was great. thank you!

  • i also have 3 dachshunds your video inspired me to make my own youtube video doing the samething but with squirrels. great video!!!

  • Mine are the same way with moles. I have a 3/4 acre back yard and they love to get out there and "hunt". It's so cool seeing these dogs do what they were bred for (well kind of). They have an absolute blast doing it and I have the added benefit of them getting rid of those yard destroying rodents. They are so comical, they're a fantastic breed!

  • @dhanix19 I know right...this video cleared that up for me too lol!

  • I love their determination and no fear. Mine is just like that...he attacked a possum tho. @_@

  • @FrostedDiamond1 : This is nature at work, all animals on the planet serve a purpose, horses, some are bred to work the sields some are bred to rrace, cows give us milk, dog,s some herd , some guard, some hunt vermin the name of the dachshund in english means ' badger dog' so it was bred to hunt.

  • Awesome!

  • Omg, I CAN'T watch this, this makes me sick in the stomach. I will never come to this video AGAIN.

  • I also have a male same color as your dogs. He has a wicked nose and now has 2 squirrels and 2 gophers under his belt. Amazing how well they hunt, especially when the gopher was almost size of him.
