Actually, yes, Cirdan the Shipwright makes very brief appearances in the films. He's also in the prologue to FOTR, as one of the original bearers of the Three Rings: a younger Galadriel with Nenya, Gil-Galad with Vilya, and Cirdan with Narya, which he gave to Gandalf. He is the oldest Elf left in Middle-Earth at this point, of the generation of Galadriel's grandparents.

So sad,so so sad.

Great vid - so glad you put stills from Eomir's scene in the extended version where he finds Eowyn on the Pelenore fields, I cried so much at that scene it was brilliant - I wish it had made the original edit. Karl Urban acted it so beautifully, I weep pathetically everytime I see it.
*steals a hug from Samwise*

First thing I thought of when I saw that! haha :D
Cirdan of the Havens. Has a small part in the books. You can read alot more about him in Silmarillion.

@haakonsol I love the Silmarillion so much! It's like reading the classic Greek myths, but even better!
