Sophomore D.J. Cassidy and the Lowell High Red Raiders scored five shutouts in the 2008 season, despite losing 14 seniors, including their goalie, last season.

O boy, ive been a goalie from my 12th year. Im 29 now... :-)
ive trained al lot of youngsters who wanted to be a goalie but rarely ive seen the enthousiasm that your daughter shows in the video!

@Paralititan Our team plays on grass when the turf field isn't available (which is all too often). Some teams play exclusively on turf; others play exclusively on grass. It's a matter of whether the schools have money for a turf field.

Why do the fieldplayers wear special gear on there faces? Here in holland fieldplayers sometimes only wear masks with a penaltycorner (defenders)
Is it a rule to wear it? And where is this all? (country?)

In American senior high school (grades 9 - 12, ages 14 - 18), the safety rules are made by each state's athletic organization. In Massachusetts, where we live, the goalies are required to wear full masks and the fielders must wear goggles to protect their eyes from stick and ball injuries. Colleges and universities don't have the same requirements. Rarely do the fielders wear goggles.

It's actually my daughter who plays. I made the video for her to show how proud I am of her. She's 16 and is a 10th grader in senior high school.
