What is The Atheist Experience?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas, geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

  • @Zenkai251 You've made a wonderfully eloquent point, explained it well and wrapped up all the loose ends so elegantly!... Really? your argument is "shut up"? that is your higher intellectual ground that you're calling people ignorant from? dipshit

  • @Zenkai251 Go ahead and explain. Help us realize his foolishness.

  • The Force is strong in Matt.

  • Funny thing is he is still on that rant

  • @Zenkai251 so where was the positive moral innovation? why is Christianity special at all?

  • @Zenkai251 hitler believed that certain races were divinely created and others were of infernal ancestry. even ignoring that, how would not believing in gods be a motivation to start a genocide? its not as simple as "oh well, there's no one to tell me NOT TO DO IT! ha ha ha!"

what was the basis of European antisemitism? you will find it comes from a centuries-long christian tradition.

  • @Zenkai251 But the fact remains, even if Hitler isn't he still did it in the name of "Christ"

  • @Zenkai251 It doesn't matter if Hitler was an atheist to prove your point, most high ranking officials under him were Christian retard, generals, Nazi architects that built the camps, ect. What about the Catholic Church killing and giving false information to people, lone wolves shooting up camps with kids in the name of Jebus, Muslims blowing themselves up, the KKK, the people in africa killing homosexuals and "witches" because their God told them to supposedly? Huh?

  • @SorryStamin You're mistaken. There has been a lot of debate and controversy surrounding Hitler's religion. Some think he was a Christian, but more say he was an atheist.

  • @Zenkai251 No, he held the firm belief his creator wanted the Jews dead. Read Mein Kampf? He was a part of the growing majority in the German public that thought Jesus was not a Jew, but in fact a hater of the Jews. In case you don't know the Nazi movement had a strong Christian tone.

  • @SorryStamin Hitler was a Catholic when he was young, but he gave up his faith and became an atheist when he got older. You seem to be a little confused.
