Thanks for posting this video. Do you think you can rip and upload the music. I always liked the music to this game. The car/driver select was my favorite. :)

I have the U.S. version of the game. Thinks for posting this :) I always wondered what the Japanese version was like. It seems that when the Japanese version was released, they didnt have full rights from the FIA and F1, because the driver names and cars are altered.

But by the time the U.S. version released they must have had full licensing, because the drivers names and team liverys are correct.

Also:

Youre right, the game had a lot going for it. It started out good but in the middle of developement they dropped it.

They say it's the 1997 Championship, but judging from the McLaren colors (which were changed in 1997 from red & white to silver gray & black) and Jordan's, as well as the roster (Pedro Diniz on Ligier, when Team Ligier became Prost Grand Prix on 1997, with Shinji Nakano as Olivier Panis' teammate in place of Diniz ; Frentzen on Sauber, when he was transferred to Williams on 1997), it's more the 1996 Championship than anything. Yeah, F1 fan out there. :p
