Sorry, don´t bother about Fox Labs products. I just learned that even pepper spray is not only illegal in the UK but considered a weapon of the same level of a gun. So one is better off with an AK-47.

Coming back to StoppaRed, does it have any effect on the attackers other then marking them? I guess they´d get really angry and even more violent if sprayed with paint since they don´t really stop to think about the consequences. I don´t know, what do you think?

@zurriagazo71 Stoppa Red Spray is by no means a be all and end all soloution, it's main purpose is as a detereant before being sprayed ( the threat of using an unknown substance) and then once fired it may buy you a few seconds.

I think it depends on the person, for some it may make them more angry and for others it may make them wish to go home and change. Stoppa red is not a complete soloution, but it will serve as a good adjunct to any other self defence tools/skills that you may have.

Thanks for the review. I am as worried as you about self-defense here in the UK since I was attacked a few months ago. Have you tried Fox Labs products? Like the 1 Pound Pistol Grip Fog? Also, when you think of self-defense, do you think of 16 year old kids like I do? Cheers.

@zurriagazo71 Hi, Im sorry to hear you were attacked, the way people treat others in the uk is shameful. I have not tried any fox lab products, however I may. When I think of self defence I think of all ages, the recent riots showed that any age from 11 to 41 years will indulge in crime.

I have one of these and Farb Gel and tbh you are 1000% better off going out and getting properly trained in martial arts (Good arts, not dancing around like some places)

If you are looking for something simple, quick, easy to learn and apply and will make many other positive changed to your life then go for Boxing or Kickboxing. If not, Japanese Ju Jitsu, Kyokushin Karate, Krav Maga, Kali etc

However I find that carrying a loaded bazooka and a couple of atomic warheads usually deters any unwanted attention.

@zurriagazo71 It may make them angry but have you ever got something in your eye? It's amazing how it debilitates you. Get a face full of red gunk & I think you'll have to abandon your attack while you sort your shit out. I think the spray is intended to buy you time rather than to completely disable an attacker. It's certainly better than nothing.
