Hey Darren, Ive got a '97 F-150 4wd with the 4.6L in it and i just reacently put pacesetter shorty headers on it and also the rear cats are deleted as well and my check engine light is on is there a way i can solve this problem? I love my truck it sounds awesome!

Your CEL is on because of the cat work. You'll need a couple O2 sims to turn the light off.

the guy at the exhuast shop goes that chevy is the less nosier, ford is in the middle and dodge is the loudest, it depends on the engine size and the size of the opening bettween the engine and the headers, and other reasons of course...

imo Fords are the quietest due to the cat converter design, modular V8 designing, and factory tuning with all of the restrictions and limits, however, all of those limits are why Fords last the longest. Chevy is 2nd loudest imo and Dodge is surely the louder trucks.
