Have you ever messed up your .dll files by making them open up in notepad or adobe reader or other programs? In this video I have put myself in your position. This tutorial is the one for you to watch and learn from.. I've got a screenshot of the .dll file after the restart and it shows the icon again, to see it, click on this link:
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/3848/screenshotim.jpg
Thanks for watching, and please watch in HD..
STEPS:
1) Click on the start menu and type in "regedit" for Vista users, XP users should click on start and then on run and type in "regedit". WITHOUT THE SPEECH MARKS.
Locate .dll folder by doing the following...
2) Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3) Then on Software
4) Then on Microsoft
5) Then on Windows
6) Then on CurrentVersion
7) Then on Explorer
8) Then on FileExts
9) Then on .dll
Follow what I have done. Turn on sound/speakers to hear me talk and understand.
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed, rate 5 stars, comment, and Subscribe. Thanks!

  • @MrBavitron Sure, send me a message requesting a video and I'll try to make one. Please be specific and tell me all you need me to show.

  • @skyline8cp I'm not sure :( I tried it and it works on Win 7 and Vista but I'm afraid I haven't tried it on XP, but some people say it works on XP. Maybe try asking someone who uses XP and followed my steps and ask them how they got around it? Sorry I was of no help.
