Classic tv movie from the 1973, based on the diary of a teenage girl. Alice, an insecure "good girl," falls into a life of drugs and rough living. Features some great rock songs from the 60's/70's (not the original artists, but still pretty good). Starring Jamie Smith-Jackson, William Shatner (yep, the captain yet again), Andy Griffith, Julie Adams, Ruth Roman, and some actors who would become better known later, like Robert Carradine and Mackenzie Phillips.

They got the movie wrong. The girl who wrote the diary is not Alice. Have you read the book called Alice in Wonderland? It has a lot of references to drugs - Mad Hatter, the cards that chase her - The title Go Ask Alice was taken from a song called White Rabit written by Grace Slick. If you don't believe me, look it up. Or if you want to use your time more wisely, listen to the song.
And the people who put the book together, since the song was only a few years old in 1973, (the song came out in '68) they used the title for the book. Its called "resonance". Look it up!
