This is a trailer that I made for the BBC documentary The Power of Nightmares, about the American Neo-Conservatives and the radical islamists. I took parts from the intros of the three films to make this video.

IT COMES DOWN TO HOW YOU READ IT. For me its being made to say that fear has been created towards a "enemy", to give the state more power from the citizen (cctv,new laws,police) and be hypocrites themselves (not following the laws they tell us to obey). Most have fear of the other side because they are only shown one side of the story. "We need more light about each other. Typical conspiracy theory bullshit. It's ironic that in attempting to attack their political opponents, the people creating this series are doing exactly what they accuse them of. Calling neo-cons evil, and acting as if there's some organized conspiracy to take over the world by them. This "documentary" is in itself peddling fear, nightmares and hatred.

And it's a nice touch with the random, hypnotic cuts to stock footage that has nothing at all to do with the subject. Very "Zeitgeist".
