After being gone in America for 2 1/2 months over Spring Break, I was back in Japan! My friends and everyone were extremely supportive and welcoming when I came back, which I really appreciated. ^_^ (I had had to go back to America for not so happy reasons) When I came back, the weather was perfect, and flowers were blooming everywhere. It was so beautiful and I felt truly happy to be back. This semester, since the beginning has been going great & I'm really happy here!

  • So, do you speak Japanese well? Just curious. ^-^

Oh and I love this video! It's so beautiful~ I can't wait to go to Japan one day!

  • @Rissykinns

I'm not advanced, but I am at an intermediate level= I can function in day to day life & have conversations w/ people no prob. There are some topics though that I don't know all the vocabulary for-- some buisness terms, historical etc. So that's about where I'm at- at 2kyuu level but not 1 kyuu.

Thank you! Definitely go if you can! You'd be suprised how many scholarships & grants there are out there. I got almost a complete free ride for the 1st year + scholarships for the 2nd.

  • oh hey that's right shrgnatlas! you road a bike too a bunch when you where in Japan right?

  • Yes, well, I'd have to say it's the most relaxing way to get from point A to point B. Having the summer breeze in your face while listening to the cicadas and smelling the flowers is just about the most peaceful I could see myself.

If I were you, I'd grab a bike and start riding by yourself in a random direction on a hot day. Just start peddling without concern for where you'll end. The destination isn't always the most important part to the journey. I guess you'd know that by now, :D.

  • I've been thinking that'd be nice but I haven't acted on that whim yet. ^_^ I'll have to do that one of these days.

  • Welcome back ... you have great skill biking and filming at the same time :-)

  • :D Funny story with, before I came to Japan I was horrible on a bike & even swerved a bunch but know I can ride with someone on the back, in the rain & hold my own umbrella at the same time! ^^; although the camera was still a bit shaky in places...
