I am fortunate in my life to see the shuttle on piggyback above the B747 flying above NYC, many launches at the Cape and a Landing in Edwards Airforce base in California.
My favorite was the night launches just like your video. I also have & love this camera, I wish I had this camera back then, but there was no way I would of because I would not be able to afford it back then...lol. Thank you for posting this video. It brought back great memories.
Great video, I miss seeing those launches. I've been to many launches myself back in the mid and late 80's. I went to college in Daytona Bch and my ex roomate's uncle worked for NASA therefore I was able to get these special passes to get real close to watch the launches. I was @ school and watched when the Challenger exploded and I was there @ the cape to watch the first launch when NASA went back to business.
