Brilliant idea: let's give EVERY character a poorly written bad ending and pretend it's deeply ironic. That won't piss ANY of our fans off, right? Maybe throw in some ugly level design and bad controls to boot.

Honestly, it's been over a decade since I bought this game and played it, and I'm still bitter.

Calypso gave him the sole of his shoe when he stepped on him. I think that was the only clever ending in twisted metal ever.

I'm glad I missed this game. I remember 1, 2, Black, and now the new one. I don't even remember playing 3 and 4 and I was the most hardcore Twisted Metal fan in the universe. Maybe I did play, and even own them, but my mind has mercifully made me forget.

Favorite one? Twisted Metal 1. I remember I got it on Christmas day along with a PS1. I was so happy. Me and my brother played it NONSTOP all throughout the Christmas break from school. It is that memory alone that makes that game my favorite.
